Your Hydro pod's pressure and effectiveness can be negatively impacted by the accumulation of mineral deposits and other materials. To ensure top-notch performance, it is essential to clean your Hydro pod every 1-3 months using the following four steps:

Step 1: Clean the Outside of the Unit

  • When required, use a mild non-abrasive cleanser and a soft cloth to wipe the exterior of the unit clean.

Step 2: Clean the Water Reservoir

  • Hand wash the reservoir with warm soapy water.

Step 3: Clean the Internal Parts

  • Mix 1-2 tablespoons of white vinegar with 16 ounces of warm water.
  • Run this solution through the unit until the reservoir is empty.
  • Rinse by repeating with a full reservoir of clean warm water.

Step 4: Clean the Flosser Tip

  • Remove the tip from the unit using the eject button.
  • Soak the Water Flosser tip in a container of 2 parts water, 1 part hydrogen peroxide or white vinegar for 5 minutes.
  • Rinse the tip under warm water.
With little effort, you can effortlessly keep your Hydro pod Water Flosser clean, guaranteeing that you get the most out of the unit for your oral health.
